Ok...I know I said I would post it sooner...sorry! Here it is....the day to day itinerary for the East Coast Tour for Middle School Kids Spring Break 2007...

East Coast Tour
Travel Dates: March 31, 2007 - April 6, 2007

Day 1: Bus transfer from Kennewick (7:00 am) to Spokane. Fly from Spokane to Newark, New Jersey arriving at 10:00 pm. Arrive Newark and meet your over the road escort and depart for hotel and check into hotel the Crown Plaza Englewood, NJ.
Day 2: Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Manhattan. Take a boat ride to visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Lunch on own at South Street Seaport. This afternoon, tour the Wall Street area and lower Manhattan including Greenwich Village, SoHo, Little Italy and a visit to the NY Stock Exchange. Dinner in Chinatown. This evening, attend a Broadway Show. (Tickets are subject to availability and are included in costs.)
Day 3: Breakfast at hotel. This morning, tour the United Nations. Then visit Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral and Empire State Building before lunch on own along Fifth Avenue. Depart for Philadelphia. Check-in to Philadelphia area hotel. Then transfer to South Philadelphia for dinner at an old-style Italian restaurant. Holiday Inn Philadelphia Historic District
Day 4: Breakfast at hotel. This morning, take a guided Liberty Tale Tour which includes the Graff House, where Thomas Jefferson drafted the Declaration of Independence. Also visit the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Enjoy lunch on own at the Bourse. This afternoon, tour the U.S. Mint, Ben Franklin Court with the Franklin Print Shop, and the Betsy Ross House. Transfer to Washington DC dinner en route. Check-in to the Quality inn Iwo Jima, VA
Day 5: Breakfast at hotel. This morning take a city tour of DC to include the Mall and visit some of the 14 Smithsonian Institutions. Start off with a visit to the National Air and Space Museum. Then have lunch on own at the National Gallery Museum Cafeteria. This afternoon visit the National Museum of Natural History. Continue touring to include the Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and Washington Monument. Dinner at a neighborhood restaurant in Georgetown. Time on own in Georgetown for shopping.
Day 6: Breakfast at hotel. Visit Arlington National Cemetery which contains the gravesides of President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy as well as the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Lunch on own en route to Mt. Vernon. Visit Mount Vernon, the estate of George and Martha Washington. It has been restored to its appearance in 1799, the last year of Washington's life. Enjoy last evening group dinner.
Day 7: Breakfast at hotel. This morning continue touring any of the museums and monuments that were not seen. Have lunch on own at Union Station and then depart this afternoon to airport for departure home. Fly from DC to Spokane arriving at 10:30 pm. Bus transfer from Spokane to Kennewick, WA.
